The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a child see a dentist when their first baby tooth erupts or by their 1st birthday. We see kids of all ages! We know that the dentist can be intimidating initially, especially for children. This is why a child’s first visit with us is a “Happy Visit” to meet their dentist, review diet and oral hygiene instructions, and familiarize them with the dental office.

In southwestern oklahoma, no group of dentists enjoys working with kids more than the dentists here at Storts Family Dentistry. After a child’s first visit with us, we will proceed with a regular hygiene schedule. Your child should visit us every six months for a checkup and hygiene appointment. Getting on top of dental hygiene at a young age will give a child a long-lasting smile and decrease their chance of dental disease.

Compassionate Care for Kids

In addition to this, any oral issues that are already developing will be able to be caught and treated early on. If we deem it necessary, we offer orthodontics for children! Both Invisalign and traditional metal braces are great options for correcting a child’s teeth. Our orthodontic services are helpful for issues including but not limited to overbite, underbite, crossbite, crowded teeth, gap teeth, open bite, and crooked teeth. We are also able to treat children who have a mixture of baby and adult teeth. Lastly, our three locations in Ardmore, Marietta, and Madill provide sedation for children who become unnaturally anxious when visiting the dentist. We utilize nitrous oxide or “laughing gas” to give anxious children a calm and comfortable experience.

I went to them after a traumatic experience at a different dentist following extractions. They were so kind and helped me feel better. I cannot thank Dr. Storts amazing office and Dr. Jesse Storts himself enough. Seriously made me feel validated and heard. Like I wasn’t being crazy or they had no idea what was wrong with me. We are kinda new to the Love County area and needed to get my son in for a toothache, and not knowing really anyone, I took to google and this was the first place I saw, and it's not far from the house. They got my son in quickly and were super friendly. While my son was super nervous, they were super friendly took the time to talk to him and I. Storts in Marietta is the Absolute best ever. We had trouble with getting seen as new patients they didn't hesitate when we called. Also accepts delta dental from the Chickasaw nation so now all members of our household are seen there. The ladies up front are very sweet, nice, and professional. The dentist and hygienists are very caring and understanding. Would recommend anyone to go there.
