APPROACH TO DENTISTRY

“I strive to treat my patients as I would want myself treated. Clinical skills are important, but compassion, care, and making patients feel comfortable, like they are part of the treatment process is what brings me to work everyday. I think it is so important to build trust with my patients, as most of the time they cannot see the work that is being done. I like to educate my patients so that they understand the treatment options that are recommended, and help guide them to make a choice that suits them best. I do not use a “cookie cutter” plan for all, I treat each patient as a unique individual. I also try to debunk the idea that dentists are scary and visits have to be painful by taking my time and making each experience the best that I can.”

MORE ABOUT DR. LAUREN STORTS

She completed a one-year General Practice Residency at OU Children’s Hospital, where she received additional training with special needs and medically compromised patients, interceptive orthodontics, and sedation dentistry.

Lauren met Travis while in school, they were married in 2016, and had their daughter Sophie in 2017. Lauren loves her dogs, cooking, going to movies, Sooner football, The Thunder, and spending time with family and friends.

Lauren is also a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, Oklahoma Association of Women Dentists, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Pediatric Care

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a child see a dentist by the time their first baby tooth erupts or by their 1st birthday. We see kids of all ages! The first visit is a “Happy Visit” to meet the dentist, review diet and oral hygiene instructions, and familiarize your child with the dental office. We recommend dental cleanings and check-ups twice a year. Bring your child in for a cleaning today! Learn More Schedule Appointment

Pediatric Cleaning

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a child see a dentist by the time their first baby tooth erupts or by their 1st birthday. In order to keep your children's teeth and gums healthy, it's important to receive regular dental cleanings.

Orthodontics

To most people, orthodontics means “metal” braces, and for many that is what is needed. However, modern advances in orthodontics have allowed different appliances such as clear aligners like Invisalign to be used as an alternative. Both are great treatment options to align teeth and correct orthodontic problems.

Sedation

We utilize nitrous oxide or “laughing gas” and oral sedation for anxious or apprehensive patients. Alleviate anxiety during dental procedures with our proven sedation alternatives. Choose between nitrous oxide, conscious, and IV options for a calm and comfortable experience.

Implants & Oral Surgery

If you are experiencing pain, loss of teeth, or general bone loss, one of our oral surgery options will be great for you. Dentures are perfect for teeth replacement. For extraction procedures, such as wisdom teeth removal, we offer great plans and solutions just for you. Learn More Schedule Appointment
